NEW THIS YEAR - OTA's - ORGANIZED TEAM ACTIVITIES

In order to get this year off to a running start, the London Silverbacks require all new and returning players to register for, and attend, a series of OTA's beginning at 10:30am on April 24th at the Silverbacks newest affiliate, Wise Athletic Development Academy (WADA), located at 1925 Culver Drive, off Clarke Side Road, between Dundas and Oxford.  Saturday April 24th will be spent setting baseline numbers for the standard football measurables. The following 20 days between the 25th of April and the 14th of May, players will have the opportunity to attend up to 4 training sessions led by our partners at WADA.  This will culminate in a re-test and final measurable scores.  The sessions will target strength, endurance and flexibility training and lay the foundation for a successful 2010 season.

All new players will be required to complete at least 2 of these sessions before they report on May15th for the start of camp while returning players will be required to attend at least 1 of the additional sessions before they report on May 18th, when full team practices will begin. 

Cost for all players, returning or new, will be $45.00 which will be due on the 24th.

What: The first of five official London Silverbacks training sessions. All new and returning players who wish to be part of the 2010 team must participate (see above).
Cost: $45 which will cover all 5 sessions
Misc.: The April 24 workout will focus on standard combine testing such as 40yd, broad jump, bench press, etc. This is non-contact, so no football equipment is required. Dress in comfortable exercise attire.
