Silverbacks Offense Roars to Life in Playoff Victory!

Saturday, October 11 the London Silverbacks continued their historic journey into the primary playoffs of the North American Football League when they hosted the Ohio Red Bulls in a game at TD Waterhouse stadium.

It was a game that lived up to all the hype and more the Silverbacks came away with a big 42- 20 victory.

The first three minutes of the game would provide foreshadowing as the Bulls came out firing completing a 60 yard bomb on the first play of the game but the 'Backs would counter on the following play by recovering a fumble to keep their opponents out of the end zone.. and then the offense arrived! The offense was explosive all night with a balanced attack that immediately drove down the field for the first of 6 touchdowns, a record in an already amazing season!

The Silverbacks will continue their homestand Saturday, October 18 7:00pm at TD Waterhouse stadium when they host the Indianapolis Tornados (7-1-2) whose only losses had come at the hands of defending champions the Kane County Eagles. The Indiana Tornados will be the Silverbacks toughest challenge ever featuring 13 players with pro experience including 5 with NFL or CFL experience.
