Silverbacks Continue to Make History in Playoff win


Saturday, October 4 the London Silverbacks made history in becoming the first ever Canadian NAFL team to win a first round primary division playoff game when they defeated the North Coast (OH) Vikings 13-0.

Despite a number of quality Canadian squads entering the playoffs the past four years their record had been 0-4, last night that ended in a hard fought, very physical football game that really showed that this Silverbacks squad is far from typical. This win ensured the team will be back at TD Waterhouse stadium again next week to host the Steel Valley Division winning Ohio Red Bulls who finished the regular season 9-1. Kick-off will be 7:00pm and the team is asking everyone to come out wearing the red and white to show their Canadian pride and support for the Silverbacks as they continue their historic journey.
