The London Silverbacks will officially open their 2008 season this Saturday, July 19 7:00pm at TD Waterhouse stadium vs. their division rivals the Genesee County Patriots.
This game will be London's first look at their defending NAFL titleholders as they prepare to take the league by storm continuing to showcase the talent that lies hidden in the Forest City. Talent which has been bolstered with the recent signings of 2007 Toronto Argonauts draft pick DL Sean Simms, former UWO standouts Justin Anania and Adam Dicola, and University of Laurier phenom OL Andrew Dietrich

Matchups to watch: Patriots OL vs. Silverbacks DL. As the Silverbacks D goes, so do the Silverbacks yet a recent rash of injuries on the defensive line will stir the hopes of the Patriots in to thinking upset.
