Silverbacks shut-out streak now at 3 games!

London's football team continues to make history as they beat the Michigan Admirals 13-0 to move their shut-out streak to 3 games while also knocking off the Michigan Admirals for the first time ever.

This big win now moves the Silverbacks to 5-2 and in to sole possesion of second place in their Central Lakes Division and in great position for their second straight playoff run. A stout defense held the high-octane Michigan offense to under 150 total yards including an intense goal line stand in the 3rd quarter when the team was only up 7-0. Touchdowns were scored on passes from standout QB Steve Panella to Derek Watson and Freddie Pompey Jr with the extra point from Robert Eeuwes.

The Silverbacks now prepare to host their Canadian counterpart the Tri-City Titans in a rare Friday night game September 14 at TD Waterhouse Stadium with a 7:30pm kick-off.

The streak lives as the Silverbacks continue to put London on the international football map!
